Welcome to The Pico Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals as they transition from justice involvement or from incarceration back into society. At the heart of our mission is the belief that everyone deserves a second chance and the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity and support.

We envision a world where justice involvement or former incarceration is not a barrier to success, and where individuals are fully supported and integrated back into their communities, equipped with the tools, resources, and opportunities to lead fulfilling, productive lives.
Our Mission
The Pico Project aims to provide comprehensive transition opportunities and resources that help individuals successfully navigate life after prison, Probation, or have been convicted of a crime. Through mentorship, job training, housing assistance, educational support, and wellness services, we strive to eliminate the barriers that prevent people from reclaiming their lives and contributing to their communities.
What We Do
- Mentorship Programs: We match participants with mentors who guide them through the transition process, offering emotional and professional support every step of the way.
- Job Training & Placement: We provide valuable skills training to help individuals secure sustainable employment upon release, giving them the confidence to pursue long-term careers.
- Educational Support: We offer educational resources to help individuals complete their GED, obtain college degrees, or pursue vocational certifications, opening doors for a brighter future.
- Housing Assistance: A stable living situation is a foundation for success. We assist with finding safe, affordable housing options for those transitioning out of prison.
- Wellness & Counseling: Mental health and wellness are vital for reintegration. We provide counseling and access to wellness programs to help individuals heal and rebuild.
